Ascension St. Vincent Evansville is a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care, medical-surgical care and maternity services that include perinatal care for women and babies in high-risk pregnancies. Our care teams listen to quickly understand your health needs and deliver care that's right for you. Our emergency department is an adult and pediatric Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center in Evansville, Indiana, backed by leading cardiovascular, surgical, transplant, neuro, stroke, orthopedic, burn care, and trauma specialists. We also offer several primary care offices, and specialists in endocrinology, weight management, lung care, cardiology, infectious disease and more.
Company History
Ascension St. Vincent was established in Indiana by the Daughters of Charity responding to the call to provide healthcare in Evansville, Indiana in 1872. The legacy started by our historic founders in the 1800’s has grown into a statewide ministry. Today St. Vincent is represented in 54 of 92 Counties. We have 20 hospital Ministries, 370 sites of care, and employ over 13,000 associates. Ascension St. Vincent provided nearly $146 Million in Charity Care in fiscal year 2024.
