Position Details: Radiation Oncologist

The Department of Radiation Oncology at NYU Langone Health- Long Island Hospital/Perlmutter Cancer Center is seeking a BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join our growing Department. The successful candidate will have completed or be completing their residency to join us this upcoming year in our Mineola campus. We are a warm caring Department and most of us have worked together for many years and are a part of our community both in and out of the hospital. We encourage research in addition to patient care and are proud to be one of the largest SBRT Departments in the world having hosted the Prostate SBRT Course since its inception years ago. We take our jobs very seriously but have a light personality in the Department with everyone on a first name basis. The qualified candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong clinical abilities for this busy clinical Department.
Qualifications
MD
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
Currently licensed or able to obtain a license in the state of New York
Must have DEA
Interested in enrolling patients in clinical trials and tumor boards

About the Perlmutter Cancer Center
The PCC is National Cancer Institute–designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our scientists, researchers, and educators are at the forefront of cancer research, education and training, and community outreach. Our basic, translational, clinical, and population-based research program brings together laboratory scientists and clinical researchers to deliver the latest advances in cancer care and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
