MedStar Health seeks a board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist to join the team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team with access to advanced radiation therapy technologies. Faculty appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine is available.
MedStar Health Radiation Oncology in the Baltimore region consists of MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, Bel Air Medical Campus, and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and is part of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute. The centers maintain Commission on Cancer and American College of Radiology accreditation.
MedStar Health is searching for a motivated, personable physician with strong interpersonal skills and excellent bed-side manner to help us grow and expand our well-established practice. Our physicians work closely as a team to take care of our patients, provide peer review on difficult cases and mentorship to new physicians. We have excellent relationships with referring physicians and have taken pride in maintaining these relationships through the years. Our group is actively involved in hospital and cancer institute leadership at each of our centers. We actively enroll patients in clinical trials, serve on committees, and attend weekly tumor boards.
