Under general direction of the Director, CV & Neuroscience Service Lines, the Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology is responsible to plan, direct and supervise all nursing, technical and operational aspects of the Lab specific to services, programs, disposables, equipment and the evaluation of such programs. This position ensures an optimal work environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care; oversees the 24-hour operation of the lab with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met. Qualifications: MANDATORY:
Graduate of an Bachelor Program
Current BLS, ACLS certification.
Minimum of 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
Demonstrated competencies specific to responsibilities within the lab, including but not limited to: IABP insertion, hemodynamic monitoring
PREFERRED:
Five years cardiac cath lab and or interventional radiology experience
Master's Degree in Nursing, or Healthcare Administration or related field
