Job Summary:
The Care Partner will assist the patient with basic hygiene, feeding, walking, and dressing. The Care Partner accurately takes and documents vital signs, documents I&O's, calorie counts, perform blood draws, linen changes, insert and remove Foley Catheters and take weights. The employee will sit and monitor patients as needed. You will float to various units within the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

$4,000 sign on bonus (new hire must meet eligibility requirements)

Vanderbilt University Hospital cares for adult and geriatric patients during the entire care continuum. The Float Pool assists with staffing many areas including over 35 different areas within the Adult Hospital. Float Pool supplemental staffing provides a crucial service for our customers, not only to ensure safe quality patient care, but provides support for our unit colleagues as well. You will be offered opportunities to expand your knowledge and maintain an expansive skill set which will enable to you to become a resource to others.

Position Shift

• Full-time, 36 hours a week. This is a full-time role with premium pay .
• Days and Nights available
• 7am - 7pm or 7pm-7am
