We are recruiting a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist for a permanent employed part-time position in a growing community practice in North Georgia within 90 minutes of Atlanta. This part-time position will overlap with an existing on-site, full-time, mid-career radiation oncologist. If the practice continues to grow, there is the opportunity for this part-time position to become a second full-time position. The facility is able to provide the following Radiation Oncology services: IMRT, RapidArc, SRS, SBRT, IGRT, 4DCT, HDR brachytherapy, I-131 therapy and Xofigo. Current equipment includes the following: Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Varian HDR Afterloader, GE CT Simulator, VisionRT system, Eclipse, and Varian ARIA. Staff includes the following: A full-time dosimetrist, a full-time physicist, and a full complement of clinical nurses, radiation therapists, front desk personnel, and a cancer service line administrator. Successful candidates will have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited radiation oncology residency program and be board certified/board eligible in radiation oncology at the time of appointment.
