Therapy Associates is seeking an energetic BC/BE radiation oncologist to join two experienced radiation oncologist who practice at the Deaconess Chancellor Center for Oncology and the Evansville Cancer Center.  Deaconess and US Oncology operate as Tri-State Radiation Oncology, a joint venture that operates two cancers centers in Evansville Indiana.  Therapy Associates provides professional services for these centers.  The Chancellor Center for Oncology is a hospital-based facility associated with Deaconess Health System. Evansville Cancer Center is a freestanding outpatient facility. We are developing a growing regional network. We treat 70-80 patients per day on 2 Varian IX and a Varian True Beam. Plus we have a high volume of SBRT (15/week of lung, brain, liver and re-treatment), and HDR brachytherapy (5-10/week of GYN-vaginal cylinder, T&O, Syed, Mammosite, and prostate interstitial). We are MD Anderson Cancer Network certified physicians and facility. We have excellent support staff of 2 physicist, 3 dosimetrists, therapists and nurses. Evansville is located in southwestern Indiana on the Ohio river, bordering Kentucky and Illinois. Evansville is Indiana's third largest city. Evansville is 2-3 hours from Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis and Indianapolis.
