The IR Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is a practice role to work in the Robley Rex VA Medical Center acute care setting caring for the patient (both inpatient and outpatient) undergoing radiologic imaging procedures and radiation oncology treatments. They are responsible for obtaining consents for the procedure, conducting a thorough physical assessment and medical/surgical history, consult management, planning care, and evaluating patients pre- and post-procedure.
