Advanced Radiation Oncology Associates is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its Private/Group Practice. This is an opportunity to join a well-established practice with state of the art Varian equipment including Truebeam and Trilogy machines. The practice sees over 1000 consults per year. Saint Luke's University Health Network is a system of 10 hospitals with four Cancer Centers that include Radiation Oncology Departments. The network also has been accredited with it’s own medical school affiliated with Temple School of Medicine since 2011. The network plans to open St. Luke's Quakertown Cancer Center, making this the 5th site for the network. The centers operate in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach with both medical and surgical oncology on site. There are site specific multidisciplinary clinics held throughout the week. We also have a strong clinical trials department with participation in all of the major cooperative groups including NRG. The Saint Luke's Cancer Center is ACR accredited.
Services: Our departments perform IMRT, IGRT, Rapid-Arc Therapy, HDR(GYN/Breast Balloon Brachytherapy), IORT, SIR-Spheres, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery/SBRT. Candidates will need to be experienced in IMRT, SRS/SBRT and brachytherapy. Facilities: The group services four facilities with the following equipment. St Luke's Bethlehem Cancer Center is equipped with a Trilogy Linac with SRS capability ,Rapid Arc, IGRT, Portal Vision, IGRT, Acuity, BrainLab IPlan, BrainLab BrainScan, Respiratory Gating, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, Varian Varisource IX HDR, and Varian Aria Patient Management System. St Luke's Allentown CancerCenter is equipped with a Varian 2100 IX with 120-MLC, Portal Vision, IGRT, Rapid-Arc, Dedicated GE Lightspeed large bore 16 slice CT simulator, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, Varian Varisource Series 200 HDR, and Varian Aria Patient Management System. St Luke's Monroe Cancer Center has a Truebeam Linac, OSMS, robotic couch, advanced imaging module with an Eclipse Treatment Planning System, Varian Bravos HDR, and Varian Aria Patient Management System. St Luke’s Anderson Cancer Center is a Varian showsite with Truebeam Linac and frameless SRS/micro MLC package, OSMS(Optical Surface Monitoring), robotic couch, advanced imaging module, large bore GE Lightspeed 4D CT simulator, Varian Varisource HDR. All sites have solid physics/dosimetry support including Velocity. Saint Luke's Health Network also trains dosimetry students and radiation therapy students.
