Rhode Island Hospital and Pratt Radiation Oncology Associates Inc. is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join the Department of Radiation Oncology. The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Minimum requirements include: ABR Board Certification/eligibility in radiation oncology and formal research training sufficient to prepare for success as an independent investigator. The primary clinical responsibilities associated with this position would be to staff a new community-based radiation oncology facility in Bristol, RI as an integrated part of an existing and very busy multidisciplinary cancer center (including infusion, multiple multidisciplinary specialty clinics, and extensive support services). The Department of Radiation Oncology currently has a faculty of 12 radiation oncology physicians and 16 medical physics residents, a medical physics graduate program and extensive collaborations with the basic science divisions at the Medical school, School of Public Health, School of Engineering, and other Brown University departments.
