M Health Fairview is looking for a CT Technologist at Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming, MN. We are known for our award-winning heart, stroke and cancer care. Imaging Technologists provide services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
This is a casual (0.01 FTE) position to support needs of the team (vacation, sick, etc.) and increased patient loads.
The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides age-appropriate patient care according to the established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. To be successful, the CT Technologist must be able to:
Perform general radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and computed tomography procedures in an efficient and accurate manner using prescribed techniques and protocols
Demonstrate good knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety protocols.
Responsible for participating in departmental quality Assurance Plan
Performs support functions such as contrast injections as needed
Casual position, schedule includes:rotating shifts and days, evenings, overnights
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Current ARRT certification
Current BLS certification for a healthcare provider through ARC or AHA
One year or more of experience as a CT Technologist
Experience with CR, PACS, RIS
Advanced ARRT CT certification or certification within 18 months of hire
