The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute Division of Radiation Oncology based in Pittsburgh, PA has an opening for a board certified, Radiation Oncologist to join our growing group as Medical Director of our new Radiation Oncology satellite facility in Erie, PA. We are looking for a patient oriented physician with excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills who can help us manage and integrate the Erie department into our network.
The Erie department has a fully optioned Elekta Versa HD Linac, Mosaiq EMR, as well as Brainlab, Exactrac, HDR brachytherapy, and Siemens Simulator technology. VMAT, SBRT, SRT, SRS, HDR, and motion management modalities are available for clinical use. As part of the AHN Cancer Institute Network, the successful candidate will join a superb group of physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, therapists, and support staff dedicated to excellence in patient care through 17 hospital based and freestanding facilities in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
We are an APEX accredited institution and are completing an extensive clinical and academic expansion including a new academic cancer center to open in April 2020 and 4 new state of the art satellite facilities.
The AHN Cancer Institute division of Radiation Oncology currently employs 19 medical physicists and 20 physicians. We have accredited Radiation Oncology physician residency program.
Faculty appointment is available at Drexel University. Clinical and research collaborations with Johns Hopkins Cancer Center are ongoing.
