Swedish Radiation Oncology, an ACR accredited facility offering comprehensive radiation therapy services, has an immediate opening for an experienced, board certified Radiation Oncologist to join our hospital employed team. This practice is located at Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, located in the south metro Denver area.
We offer comprehensive radiation therapy services including stereotactic radiosurgery with the Leskell Gamma Knife® ICON™, High dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT). The top five tumor sites treated at our center are as follows: • Breast cancer • Gynecologic tumors • Head and neck tumors • Lung cancer
Our center is part of a longstanding, robust oncology program. Physicians and staff collaborate to provide the best possible patient outcomes within an infrastructure that includes: • Interdisciplinary case conferences • Clinical trial offerings • Oncology nurse navigation • Supportive patient services
Swedish Medical Center’s oncology services have attained several accreditations including: • Commission on Cancer (CoC) • National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) • Joint Commission gold seal of approval in pancreatic cancer care • Joint Commission gold seal of approval in lung cancer care
