ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Integrated Oncology, a LabCorp Specialty Testing Group, is seeking a Senior Technologist/Analyst to join their Flow Cytometry lab team in Phoenix, AZ!
The Flow Cytometry laboratory performs Immunophenotyping of leukemias and lymphomas. It is useful in the diagnosis, prognosis, monitoring and treatment of patients with these diseases. Immunophenotyping can detect very small populations of abnormal cells among normal cells, assign a lineage to the abnormal populations and often can indicate the stage of differentiation of the populations. This position will be responsible for not only testing but analyzing, interpreting, and reporting the results.

Performs routine and moderate to complex tests and analyses according to established procedures in designated technical department.
Evaluate raw and final data for accuracy; recognize and correct errors and unusual results; interpret results to produce a final report.
Evaluates new procedures or methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader.
Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation; perform scheduled and as needed maintenance and critical function checks recognizing significant changes in instrument function; trouble shoot as indicated.
Perform required QC/QA duties including: following quality control rules; monitor controls for error detection and take corrective action; maintain laboratory records, maintenance logs, quality control charts, reagent and standard logs, and worksheets.
Perform SRS and reference accept functions as required.
Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requires B.A./B.S. in Biology or relatable life science
6 years of professional clinical lab experience
2 years of Flow Cytometry Analysis experience with a focus on Leukemia/Lymphoma assessments
Certification in Medical Technology (MT) by ASCP or equivalent
