Duke Radiation Oncology Community Partnership in South Carolina The Department of Radiation Oncology at Duke University is seeking two clinically oriented Radiation Oncologists for their new partnership with Orangeburg Regional Medical Center (RMC). RMC is a 286-bed acute-care medical center serving a six-county area. Patients are cared for at the H. F. Mabry Cancer Care Center adjacent to the hospital and staffed by a highly trained team of physicians, nurses and healing professionals providing a patient-centered and healing environment. The department seeks two highly motivated individuals to develop his/her professional career within Duke University. There will be close interactions with the main campus in Durham. Compensation will be based on AAPM benchmarks and clinical experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in working alongside the Radiation Oncology Leadership at Duke and RMC to build a thriving, state of the art community-based Radiation Oncology program providing high quality patient care close to home. The desired candidates will be board-eligible or board-certified in Radiation Oncology, clinically oriented, and have demonstrated experience growing a community practice. The practice consists of two LINACS and is currently treating over 30 patients daily using Varian technology. Orangeburg, SC is located midway between the historic port city of Charleston, and Columbia, the capital city and the home of the University of South Carolina. Orangeburg, known as "the Garden City," is an area of great natural beauty.
