Northwell Health Department of Radiation Medicine seeks a Board Certified Site Chair, Radiation Oncologist for our Lenox Hill Hospital location. As Site Chair, you will be responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership and expertise for all quality services. This is an exciting time to join our team as our Department continues to develop and grow throughout Northwell Health system, and as we continue with significant investment in the Northwell health Cancer Institute.
Lenox Hill Hospital offers state-of-the-art technology and award winning patient care. Lenox Hill will be expanding cancer services into a new ambulatory facility with the relocation of the Department. The new site Chair will be integral in helping to plan, select technology and implement the new department.

M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
(Absolute) Minimum five years of clinical and academic experience beyond training
Associate Professor level preferred
Experience in leadership position preferred
Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff, required.
Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.
Completion of Medical Residency with Board Certification. Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York (preferred).
Expertise/proficiency in prostate and gyn brachytherapy
