Torrance Radiation Oncology Associates is seeking a junior radiation oncologist to fill a partner-track position. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Our practice is well established and located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles, a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
We are an independent 4 MD practice contracted to Torrance Memorial Medical Center, a large, stable, nationally recognized community hospital. A new cancer center will be opening at the end of the year, and the hospital is strengthening its affiliation with Cedars Sinai. We practice evidence-based medicine and conduct clinical research.Our facilities include two Varian Truebeams, Aria EMR, Calypso, Brainlab including Elements for multiple metastases, Phillips Brilliance large-bore CT with 4-dimensional and IV contrast capabilities and a dedicated vault for HDR brachytherapy. We have active SRS and SBRT (spine, lung, liver, pancreas, prostate) programs and outstanding physics support as well as excellent medical oncology, surgery, radiology and pathology.
We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, team-oriented physician with strong communication skills to enhance our group.
-Candidate must have or be able to obtain a timely manner active California physician license and fluoroscopy certificate
-Active DEA certificate
-Board-certified or board-eligible in radiation oncology in the US
