Associates in Radiation Medicine is seeking a highly motivated full-time radiation oncologist to join our ACR-accredited radiation oncology team. The radiation oncologist will provide physician services at our three locations including the main campus in Salisbury, Maryland and our comprehensive oncology cancer centers in Berlin, Maryland and Seaford, Delaware.
We have a strong philosophy that includes providing the highest-quality care available across these facilities, as well as contributing to the overall mission of the center to advance the state of cancer care on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. We focus on external beam treatment including 3DCRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS/SRT. We also have an active HDR program. The Salisbury campus has Varian Truebeam and Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerators, Philips Big Bore CT Simulator, and a High Dose Brachytherapy Afterloader. The Berlin Campus has a Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerator with a 6 degree of freedom couch, Philips Big Bore CT Simulator, and a High Dose Brachytherapy Afterloader. The Seaford Campus has a Varian 2100EX and GE CT Simulator. All three sites have medical oncology integrated in the same building, thus allowing comprehensive and seamless coordination of care.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff in a dynamic working environment. The physician will be joining a team of four experienced board-certified radiation oncologists.
Candidates must be board certified/eligible in radiation oncology and must obtain a Maryland and Delaware medical license.
The three clinics are located on the Delmarva Peninsula near the beautiful beaches of the Maryland and Delaware coastline. Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. are within a two and a half-hour drive. You will also find affordable housing and excellent school systems.
