The Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor.
Principal Duties: This is a UW clinical faculty position with duties focused primarily on community practice of Radiation Oncology. Clinical activities will include performing new patient consultation, weekly patient management and supervision of external beam radiation treatment programs. Thorough training and experience is strongly desired in treating a wide spectrum of malignancies and in using a variety of technologies including HDR brachytherapy, SBRT and SRS.
Strong opportunities exist for clinical trials participation and weekly tumor board teleconferencing with close interaction and support by the UW Madison campus Department. The opportunity also exists for on site interaction and special procedures training at the UW Madison campus.
Qualifications include: M.D., completion of residency training in Radiation Oncology and Board certification (or expected within 2 years of hiring). Post-residency clinical experience valuable but not mandatory. Applicants must be able to obtain licensure in Wisconsin without restriction.
