Our department has two premium Linacs, TomoTherapy, Brainlab radiosurgery and the world’s first compact image-guided PBS Proton Therapy unit. Additionally, and in-department PET/CT, dual-energy CAT scan simulator, MRI-only simulator and surface-guidance allows us to offer next-generation radiotherapy. Willis-Knighton Radiation Oncology maintains a busy brachytherapy practice with a dedicated procedure suite and CT scan.
The team is supported by our large nationally recognized physics and dosimetry group participating in a medical physics residency program, as well as by six RN’s and two PA’s. Numerous teaching and research opportunities are available and are encouraged.
