Performs duties directly involved with a variety of specialized technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. Must have a sound knowledge of all special procedures being performed in the department. Maintains the equipment and supplies in the Special Procedures suite. Operates all equipment according to manufacturersï¿½ specifications. The special procedure team is responsible for patient care until patient is discharged from imaging.
Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology
Two (2) years experience as an interventional radiologic technologist is preferred; previous neuro-special procedures training a plus.
ARRT registered, Florida license; American Heart Association BLS certification
Basic Computer Skills
