Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, is now accepting applications for a full-time employed faculty position in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the recently opened Asplundh Cancer Center, Willow Grove, Pa. The department has 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, a Varian Edge linear accelerator, a dedicated HDR suite and is part of a new 86,000 square foot cancer center. The practice currently has two full-time faculty physicians in an established and growing community cancer center. Applicants should have qualifications to meet the level of Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor.
Responsibilities will include patient care in the hospital, outpatient and consultation setting(s), teaching, and research. Specific expertise in the areas of SRS, SBRT, and HDR brachytherapy are required. A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical trial accrual are desired.
Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and be board certified/board eligible in the field of Radiation Oncology and be able to meet the medical licensure requirements in Pennsylvania.
