Radiation oncologist (full time) needed at Compass Oncology to join our growing multispecialty oncology practice in Portland, Oregon. Our US Oncology Network-affiliated practice is comprised of 37 physicians including radiation, medical and gynecologic oncologists, breast surgical oncologists, pathologists and palliative care specialists. Compass Oncology has recently combined two medical oncology sites into a new, freestanding Westside Cancer Center, the 3rd comprehensive cancer center for the group. The new physician will join 4 radiation oncologists to share coverage at the new center as well as the existing Rose Quarter Cancer Center. Compass Oncology offers comprehensive radiation therapy with 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT/SRS, HDR brachytherapy, and radioisotope therapy. We operate two Elekta Infinity linacs and are adding a Varian TrueBeam at the new center where radiation treatments will commence in September 2019. Systems supporting radiation therapy include MIM, Pinnacle/Eclipse, Mosaiq/Aria, plus a common EMR platform across all specialties. The practice also offers in-house diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging as well as comprehensive laboratory services. We are looking for a well-rounded, board certified (or eligible within 1 year of residency) candidate capable of managing patients with a wide variety of diagnoses within a large community oncology practice. The ideal candidate will have the desire to pursue leadership opportunities and the initiative to drive the long-term growth of the practice. The group provides a comprehensive starting package on a partnership track.
