The Department of Radiation Oncology at Columbia University has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research scientist in the lab of Dr. Eileen Connolly. Position requires interest in radiation therapy, immunotherapy and breast cancer. Studies are being conducted in the use of multiplex immunofluorescent staining, image processing software, nanostring, and RNA profiling data analysis.
A highly motivated and creative postdoctoral scientist is essential for this position.
The preferred candidate must have a strong background in translational cancer research and working with clinical samples. The candidate should also have experience with in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, cancer biology, molecular biology, RNA profiling and data analysis.
Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in medical sciences, biomedical materials, or a related discipline with a proven record of peer-reviewed publications. Prior post-doctoral experience is preferred.
