The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and board certified or eligible in Radiation Oncology. Experience treating multiple sites including Head & Neck cancer with IMRT. CyberKnife and / or SBRT experience preferred, but not required. Supervision of residents may be required. The selected candidate will work Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with on-call duties required (evenings / weekends) as necessary.

The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital is one of the busiest VA hospitals in the nation. Activated in 1972 the hospital is a tertiary care facility classified as a Clinical Referral Level 1 facility. JAHVH is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services, state-of-the-art technology as well as education and research. We are affiliated with the Moffitt Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Residency Program and actively participate in residency education.
Our clinical equipment includes a True Beam STX, M6 CyberKnife, Clinac iX and a Varian Clinac 2100 EX (which will be replaced by a second True Beam), MosaiQ, ADAC Pinnacle treatment planning software, Brilliance (Philips) 16 slice CT scanner with 60 cm bore.
