The Adult Infusion and Pediatrics Nurse Manager collaborates with the Director of Oncology Services and Medical Directors of the Adult Infusion and Pediatrics.
The Nurse Manager has oversight and responsibility for the Administrative Nurse IIs, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse IIs and IIIs and Case Managers) in Adult Infusion and Pediatrics. The Nurse Manager interacts with the entire multidisciplinary clinical team, including, interaction with the following units: Davis 8, Davis 7, Adult Clinic, Radiation Oncology, and Cancer Center.
The Nurse Manager will also assist in the growth and development, expansion or new program offerings including, but not limited to: additional weekend hours, additional weekday hours, outpatient infusion for Bone Marrow Transplant, Adolescent Young Adult program, Pediatric None Marrow Transplant, etc..
Three years of nursing experience in the care of patients in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
Two years of nursing management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master's Degree in Nursing or other related field. If Master's degree is not completed, applicant must complete within three years of hire.
Valid California Registered Nurse License.
ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification.
Meets specialty specific clinical competencies for assigned area.
Nursing experience in any of the following specialties: Adult Infusion, Pediatric Infusion and Pediatrics.
Oncology Certified RN
Maintains flexible scheduling as required by workload and departmental needs.
