The Quality Improvement Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards to include The Joint Commission and DNV for Comprehensive Stroke Program. The QM will also serve as the Sepsis Champion and will partner with other leaders to ensure compliance with other disease specific or service line program requirements. The QM will also supervise the Quality Management Coordinator and Nurse Reviewer.
CA RN license
Must have at least three years of clinical quality experience
Minimum of three years management/supervisory experience in a related field
Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be computer literate and be able to fully utilize word processing and spreadsheet programs
Must have assisted in the coordination of TJC accreditation surveys
Master's degree in Healthcare
Certification as a Certified Professional Healthcare Quality
