Click Here To View The VUMC Promise of Discovery Unit Summary The Vanderbilt Breast Center at One Hundred Oaks in Nashville, Tennessee provides a complete range of services for breast health in the Middle Tennessee area. As a Nationally Accredited Breast Center and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, our comprehensive clinic offers a wide variety of services including screening, imaging, genetic testing, and breast cancer care. Utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach, we are dedicated to providing high quality care to our patients with attention to clinical expertise, evidence-based practice, patient safety, and positive outcomes. Our multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical researchers, pharmacists, dietitians, and more. We make a difference! The Vanderbilt Breast Center is located at Suite 25000 in the One Hundred Oaks building. We provide breast health care for both male and female patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Your Role: You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborate in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Further your professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.
