The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, Division of Radiation Oncology, based at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a BC/BE clinical Radiation Oncologist, with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience, to join a large integrated network providing Radiation Oncology services for a rural hospital based clinic in a college town 60 miles from Pittsburgh, PA.
The Clinic offers treatment modalities including 3DCRT, IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, and SBRT on a state of the art Linac with on –site CT simulation.
The AHNCI has a long and established track record of providing high quality radiation oncology services to patients through 14 hospital based and freestanding facilities in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio through a network which currently employs 20 physicists and 16 physicians. The Institute supports a Radiation Oncology residency which is academically active.
AHNCI is academically affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, Drexel University College of Medicine, and Temple University School of Medicine.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated clinical skills, have a proven record of teamwork, collaboration, and good interactive skills, and a caring personality.
