The Department of Radiation Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is recruiting an MD, DO or MD/PhD, board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist for a clinical, tenure-track position at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level with academic appointment at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and track-record. Candidates must have completed their residency in an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program, and have a track record of excellence in clinical care and research.
We expect the candidate to demonstrate the flexibility and training to treat multiple disease sites with multiple modalities across various geographic locations within an image guided radiation therapy program. The candidate must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and desire to work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and build a community based radiation therapy practice. The ideal candidate can foster strong connections to and enjoy opportunities for collaborative work with members of the DF/BWCC Department based in Boston. The successful candidate will also engage in teaching students, housestaff, and fellows in the clinic and inpatient settings.

About Dana Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center
The Department of Radiation Oncology is part of the Harvard Department of Radiation Oncology, and is a combined effort between the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital and the outreach Cancer Centers in local communities at Milford, South Shore, and Mansfield, Massachusetts. Current facilities include 14 Varian linacs including Truebeam and iX models, 2 HDRs units with dedicated CT scanner, a Co-60 TBI unit and 7 CT-simulators as well as an MR-Linac and Simulation suite set for activation in 2019.
