The Radiation Oncologist will treat patients at one of our free-standing centers located at 4 hospitals throughout Puerto Rico. Our comprehensive treatment offerings include IMRT, 3-D conformal RT, prostate seed implantation, LDR brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery. We have Varian machines and will adding HDR brachytherapy and the newest TrueBeam accelerator to provide SBRT/SRS. We use the Eclipse treatment planning system.
We are looking for a well-rounded (board certified or eligible within 1 year of employment) candidate capable of managing patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our ideal candidate will have the desire to pursue leadership opportunities and have the initiative to drive long term growth in our practice. The group provides a comprehensive starting package with ownership opportunities in the near future (professional and technical).
Licensed physician (board certified eligible).
Fluent in Spanish (preferably).
Expected to work closely with medical faculty, medical oncologists and palliative care physicians.
Serve the hospital community by ensuring adherence to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation subject to 4% fixed income tax rate under the "Incentives Act for the Retention and Return of Medical Professionals" for a period of up to 30 years.
