Radiation Oncologist (full time) needed at Compass Oncology to join our growing multispecialty oncology practice in Portland, Oregon. The US Oncology Network affiliated practice is comprised of 37 physicians including radiation, medical and gynecologic oncologists, as well as breast surgical oncologists, pathologists and a palliative care specialist. Compass Oncology is in the process combining two medical oncology sites into a new, free standing comprehensive cancer center which will open in the summer of 2019. This will be the 3rd comprehensive cancer center for the group. The new physician will treat patients in the new center as well as the existing center at the Rose Quarter location. Compass Oncology offers comprehensive radiation therapy with 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, HDR brachytherapy, radioisotopes, and SBRT/SRS. We have two Elekta Infinity machines and are adding a TrueBeam SRS at the new center. We use the Eclipse treatment planning system and Mosaiq, and offer in-house diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging. We are looking for a well-rounded (board certified or eligible within 1 year of residency) candidate capable of managing patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our ideal candidate will have the desire to pursue leadership opportunities and have the initiative to drive long term growth in our practice.
