Minneapolis Radiation Oncology (MRO), a privately owned Radiation Oncology practice, is seeking a part time Radiation Oncologist for our St. Francis Radiation Therapy Center in Shakopee, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. The candidate for this position must be available to flex up hours for coverage as needed.
MRO opened its first radiation therapy center over 30 years ago, and now owns or operates 10 clinic locations in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. The company has over 150 employees total, including 20 Radiation Oncologists (12 are physician owners), 14 Physicists, 15 RN's, 13 Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, administrative and clerical staff.
The St. Francis department opened over 20 years ago and employs an experienced staff of 1 Radiation Oncologist, 1 Physicist, 2 Radiation Therapists, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 RN and 1 Medical Secretary. Equipment includes 1 Elekta Synergy accelerator with OBI (kV and CBCT), Vision RT, VMAT, and a Large Bore GE CT Simulator with LAP lasers and RPM. Also, a Monaco treatment planning system and a Mosaiq system for scheduling, image review and EMR.
