Mammoth Hospital is looking for a Radiology Manager to join our Medical Imaging team! The Radiology Manager supervises and coordinates the work of all Medical Imaging personnel under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and in coordination with contracted Radiologists. The Radiology Manager acts as administrative and technical assistant to the Radiologists. In addition to performing all duties of a registered Radiology Technologist, is required to formulate and affect departmental policies, maintain personnel work schedule, personnel performance ratings and assists in training personnel. Acts as Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) project manager with regard to coordinating department level administrative duties, training, and system related issues. Works extensively with vendors and other hospital departments to ensure effective department and systems operation.
The imaging modalities that we currently offer at Mammoth Hospital include: x-ray, surgical c-arm, fluoroscopic radiology, interventional radiology, mammography, Dexa, CT and MRI (we do not currently offer PET CT or nuclear medicine).
Radiology Manager Job Requirements:
Associates degree required, BA degree preferred.
Must be a graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the AMA.
Two years’ experience as a radiologic technologist.
Supervision experience preferred.
Experience in business and management highly desired.
Must possess a valid certification from the State of California, Department of Health Services.
American Heart Association BLS certification required.
