FCS is currently expanding our team of Radiation Oncologists in our outpatient clinics throughout Florida. Our Brownwood & Trinity Cancer Center are hiring Radiation Oncologists to join their team!
Our Brownwood clinic is in search of a board-certified radiation oncologist. Located just west of Orlando, Sumter County is often called “the Real Florida.” Sumter county is perfect for the active and nature-loving person or family. The center is part of the Brownwood Center for Advanced Medicine, a multi-specialty healthcare complex that includes medical oncology and radiation oncology.
Our Trinity Cancer Center is in search of board-certified radiation oncologist. Trinity is in Pasco County, north of Tampa Bay. The center is a 30,000 square foot modern facility; includes medical oncology, PET/CT, and radiation oncology. Our centers are ACR accredited.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Varian linear accelerators
- ARIA and Eclipse network
- Medical physics and Certified Dosimetrist on site
- Radiation therapist, 2 per linac, lead therapist, Registered Nurse, MA and clerical support
- Centrally managed leadership
- Brachytherapy program

- Accredited by American College of Radiology

Specialist has a large well regarded Oncology practice based in Florida with 33 sites of PET/CT services.

Requirements
Radiation Oncologist Requirements:
- Doctorate of medicine degree.
- Completion of a radiation oncology residency program.
- Board certification as a radiation oncologist.
- Prior experience treating and diagnosing cancer patients.
- Extensive knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Motivational and leadership skills.
- A compassionate and empathetic personality.
