Description
Our private group of four academically-minded community radiation oncologists are seeking a dynamic new associate. Our practice’s hospital, Willis Knighton, is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Our group has been a national leader in Protons, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, Medical Physics and Nuclear Oncology (theranostics). We will host PTCOG NA 2025.
A traditional work ethic and the ability to flourish in a team setting are necessary attributes. Interviews will be available during ASTRO.
Requirements
Recent or new graduates looking for clinical experience in advanced modalities or a seasoned candidate with experience in contemporary therapy are encouraged to apply.
We are a single location, double-accredited department with Image-guided compact scanning Proton therapy. We offer photon radiotherapy on three Linacs including Radixact with Clear Imaging. The department utilizes Raysearch planning software, BrainLab radiosurgery, and Surface-guidance imaging.
Our center is recognized for extensive in-department imaging. MRI Sim, CT Sim, PET/CT, SPECT-CT, and a dedicated compact CT for brachytherapy, all belong to the Radiation Oncology department.
We have an award-winning physics and dosimetry team and a successful medical physics residency program with a Theranostics fellowship.
Our group is assisted by 8 RN’s, with each MD having a dedicated nurse and three PA’s who are employed by the group. The practice will likely expand to six members by 2027.
