Faculty Radiation Oncologist Positions Available – Emory University School of Medicine
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine is currently recruiting for three physician faculty positions.

- Grady Memorial Hospital – Physician & Chief of Service: Soliciting applications for a full-time radiation oncology physician at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to provide clinical service at Grady Memorial Hospital and to serve as the Chief of Service for Radiation Oncology at Grady Memorial Hospital. Grady Memorial Hospital is a 953-bed acute care teaching hospital located in downtown Atlanta, where six Emory faculty provide radiation treatment. Established in 1892, Grady is a cornerstone of care for Atlanta’s inner city and indigent populations.
- Emory St. Joseph's Hospital – Physician: Soliciting applications for a full-time radiation oncology physician at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level whose primary clinical service location is expected to be Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital. Located in the leafy north Atlanta neighborhood of Sandy Springs, Emory Saint Joseph’s is considered one of the top specialty-referral hospitals in the Southeast, where our department has a high volume of brachytherapy and Gamma Knife procedures in addition to a wide array of patients receiving external beam radiotherapy.
- Emory Proton Therapy Center – Physician: Soliciting applications for a full-time radiation oncology physician at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level whose primary clinical service location is expected to be the Emory Proton Therapy Center. As Georgia’s only proton center, this five-gantry facility located just across the street from the new 18-story Winship Emory Midtown cancer hospital, is one of the busiest in the nation, treating patients who benefit from the state-of-the-art equipment and expertise of Emory faculty.

Emory’s Department of Radiation Oncology has a tripartite mission of providing outstanding patient and family-centered medical care, educating the next generation of cancer caregivers and researchers, and leading paradigm-defining research. The department is growing in all three areas and currently has over 70 faculty distributed among Divisions of Clinical Affairs, Cancer Biology, Medical Physics, and Health Services Research. At six clinical sites in Atlanta, our physician faculty work with 25 residents in radiation oncology and medical physics, brilliant scientific collaborators, and collegial partners in other specialties. Together, they lead a wide array of clinical trials and multidisciplinary clinics and are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in subspecialty care for a wide range of cancer types.
