The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) located in Anchorage, Alaska. We would be delighted to discuss our Hematologist/Oncologist opening with you. ANMC is a Level II Trauma Center, which serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the entire state. ANMC offers over 30 specialties, and provides a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
As a Hematologist/Oncologist, you will work in clinic managing outpatients. Time is blocked on the outpatient clinic schedule to manage inpatients. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday, with our physicians working four 10-hour shifts per week, seeing 8-12 patients per day.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts per week. There is no formal call schedule; however, primary oncologists must be available for questions after hours. Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults and procedures.
We are seeking a full-time physician and will also consider part time and intermittent providers.
Qualifications: Board Eligible/Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology; collaborative team player with strong communication and relationship building skills; driven to deliver excellent care; culturally sensitive.
