Our Opportunity We are in search of a part-time Oncology Research RN! This position reports to our Specialty Operations Manager and is part of a multifunctional team. What your typical day would look like: • Develops and initiates plan of patient care using an outcomes-based approach ensuring quality care and application of age related growth and development principles in coordination with medical plan of care • Screen patients for protocol eligibility and enroll eligible patients onto clinical trials and verify tests and procedures are ordered per protocol requirements and timelines. • Assess, document, reassess, and revise the plan of care based on the patient’s response to treatment and nursing interventions on an ongoing basis.
Must haves (required to qualify): • Associate’s Degree required. • Minimum of one year experience with chemotherapy/biotherapy infusions. • Current Minnesota RN license with regular renewal. • Current BLS from American Heart or Red Cross. • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certificate obtained or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire.
