The MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join its expanding physician practice in Southern New Jersey. Bringing together MD Anderson's world-renowned expertise and Cooper's regional leadership, this prestigious partnership offers a broad range of options for cancer patients in South Jersey, Delaware and the Greater Philadelphia region. Our current need is driven by the recent rapid expansion of the breast cancer and gynecologic cancer multidisciplinary service lines, and so the preferred candidate for this position will have demonstrated a track-record of clinical and academic experience to support endeavors of these teams. The position involves collegial interaction with all clinical, administrative, and research staff within the Radiation Oncology Department at our main campus in Camden, NJ as well as within nearby satellite offices in Voorhees, NJ and Mt. Laurel, NJ. The individual chosen for this position will play a key role in the ongoing expansion of the palette of clinical trials within MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, interfacing with our colleagues at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Our department has experienced intense growth over the last two years and offers an extensive array of technology, including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT respiratory motion management, intracavitary and interstitial sealed source procedures, high dose rate brachytherapy with a dedicated procedure suite, as well as PerfexionTM Gamma-Knife and CyberKnife.
