Exciting employment opportunity at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at Magee-Womens Hospital
UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at Magee-Womens Hospital is looking for a full-time board-certified or eligible radiation oncologist to join medical director in its hospital-based department. The facility is housed on the campus and in nationally ranked Magee-Womens Hospital, located in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. The successful candidate needs strong interest in breast and gynecologic cancers, HDR MRI based brachytherapy, clinical research and participation in our ACGME accredited residency program. The candidate will receive a faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh and has access to a network of experts to provide collaboration and continued education. The oncology program at Magee-Womens Hospital participates in clinical trials that provide their patients access to advanced treatment technologies. Radiation Treatment Services available at this facility are: External beam, IMRT, brachytherapy and radiopharmaceutical treatments delivered on the Varian treatment and planning system which includes ARIA as it’s EMR. The facility is currently in the planning stages of an equipment upgrade which include the construction of a new HDR suite, and installation of the Varian Halcyon linear accelerator.
