Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center seeks to hire a full-time Radiation Oncologist to provide radiation medicine services at a satellite location in Show Low, Arizona at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center (SHRMC).
The radiation oncologist will be employed by the Dignity Health Medical Group and report to the Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Radiation Medicine Medical Director.
The Summit Healthcare Cancer Center is on the campus of SHRMC and was recently accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), American College of Surgeons (ACS). SHRMC is a private, not-for-profit regional facility with 89 licensed beds and provides health care to the more than 90,000 permanent and seasonal residents living in a 3,000 square mile area.
Show Low, AZ is the largest and one of the fastest growing cities in the beautiful White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Licensed, or eligible for licensure, in AZ;
Ability to develop effective and respectful relationships with colleagues, staff, patients and other persons from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
Training and experience in the following treatment modalities - SBRT, IGRT, IMRT, and External Beam Therapy;
