The Department of Radiation Oncology at NYU Winthrop Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing practice. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to further grow one of the most robust practices on Long Island. We treat all sub specialties in Radiation Oncology and are one of the largest SBRT practices in the world. Our practice publishes and lectures domestically and internationally as well as hosts conferences and training courses that focus on SBRT and on CyberKnife technology. Academic and Research opportunities are available and we have medical students and fellows rotating with us. Winthrop-University Hospital is a 600 bed community based teaching hospital located on Long Island, NY, approximately 20 miles outside of Manhattan. The hospital is affiliated with SUNY-Stony Brook for teaching purposes with medical students and residents rotating through the hospital. The Hospital has a growing Oncology program and has devoted a lot of resouces toward expanding radiation services
