Practice description:Radiation Oncology Centers, PC [ROC PC] is a private practice group of 7 physicians serving 4facilities in West and Mid-Michigan. The group, formed in 1993 is stable and has a strong track record of promoting those who become eligible to full partnership status.
The group fosters cooperation among its members to provide the highest level of service to the departments we serve. Each physician is encouraged to participate in the business practice both as a clinician and strategist to help the business grow and diversify.
Physicians earn partnership after 3 years of satisfactory employment with feedback to assure performance standards are maintained and practice culture adopted. New members join our professional value system, emphasizing patient care, leadership, collegial relations and group camaraderie. ROC PC fosters cooperation amongst physicians to serve our departments and patients. We work as a cooperative whole, rather than competing individuals with patient care & growth oriented goals.
ROC PC has a successful track record of providing strong leadership for radiation oncology and cancer services. We work cooperatively with institutions to improve oncology services and thereby improve patient care and census. We coordinate with other medical specialists to grow the oncology service lines. We pursue the acquisition of new techniques shown to be clinically efficacious. We actively participate in clinical research.
Opportunities: We are currently recruiting for a positiondue to growth at one of the sites we support. Under our staffing model you are usually assigned a primary site, although some cross coverage may be required within a limited geographic region.

Board certification or eligibility required. Graduating resident or experienced physician with background using 3-D conformal, IMRT. Stereotactic radiosurgery experience is preferred. Brachytherapy is optional. The candidate will need to be an excellent communicator to interact with an array of staff and physicians including Neurosurgeons, Urologists, Dermatologists, Medical Oncologists, General Surgeons. Ability to coordinate care in multidisciplinary settings. The candidate must have an ability to secure an unrestricted Michigan State License.
