Minneapolis Radiation Oncology Physicians, P.A. (MROP) is seeking a Board Certified / eligible Radiation Oncologist to work at two locations in the Minneapolis metro area. They are Methodist Hospital Radiation Therapy and North Radiation Therapy Center. The targeted start date for this position would be July of 2018.
MROP is a well established private practice with 20 Radiation Oncologists who operate nine freestanding clinics and staff two hospital based radiation therapy departments (Methodist Radiation Therapy is one) in the greater Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area, outstate Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
The Radiation Therapy Department at Methodist Hospital currently has 3 physicians, 3 physicists, 2 Medical Dosimetrists, 8 Radiation Therapists, 3 RN's and 2 Medical Secretaries. Current equipment includes Varian iX and Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators, Philips Large Bore CT Simulator, Eclipse Treatment Planning System for HDR, Pinnacle Treatment Planning System, ARIA EMR, Rapid Arc, IMRT, IGRT, CBCT and HDR Brachytherapy. Methodist Hospital is located in St. Louis Park, a metro suburb just west of Minneapolis proper.
North Radiation Therapy currently has 1 physician, 1 physicist, 1 Medical Dosimetrist, 1 RN, 5 Radiation Therapists and 1.5 (FTE) Medical Secretaries. Current equipment includes Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity Linear Accelerators, Varian Ximatron Simulator, Monaco Treatment Planning System, Mosaiq EMR, Vmat, IMRT, IGRT, CBCT and Vision RT. This clinic is located in Robbinsdale, a suburb just northwest of the Minneapolis downtown area.
